Having trouble viewing images I’ve uploaded from the Pre. They appear in my media library, but from the main blog page they only appear as a broken image link. Help?

Bug/feature request: When I’m putting photos in my posts, they tend to take roughly the entire text area, and since tapping them automatically opens the image in a web browser it gets EXTREMELY difficult to scroll the post. I would be great if it instead required a double tap or some kind of special gesture or a confirmation dialog before opening the other window.
Also, getting the cursor below the picture is difficult at best – maybe an automatic space at the bottom of a post?

I am using wordpress 3.0.1. Could this be the cause of all problems?
The issue might be on some webservers that have parse wrongly the ‘accept-encoding’ header. I’m looking for a workaround, if there is one.
I agree with @G.Knerd about posting an image and not being able to get to the space below it to continue typing. I have 1.5.1 installed. I tried leaving many blank lines and inserting an image in the middle of them, the image was inserted at the bottom again leaving no room to select below it. Only solution I have found so far is to load the post and insert some blank lines from a desktop.

Enter text. Add two newlines between paragraphs. Position cursor at start of one of these newlines. Enter a link. Link appears at the bottom of the post.
I understand, but in the case of the visual editing (wysiwyg), I can only append new content at the end: that widget is a Palm widget and has limited functionality. You will need to use the html editor to add the image where you want.
